Our knives fit Woodmaster®, Powermatic®, Foley Belsaw®, RBI®, Sears®, Jet®, Grizzly® planer Molders as well as multi headed molders, and corrugated shaper cutters. All 1/4” and 5/16” corrugated are $12.50 per inch, smooth back knives are all priced at $13.95 per knife inch. All 1/8” knives $10.95 inch. William and Hussey knives are priced at $10.95 per knife width inch. Eight inch knives are sold in sets of three. Holding gibbs are included.
I began in my basement, Sharpening saw blades, I Bought Equipment Sharpening Co. and became partners with AAA Grinding. I Sold Out in 1978 and Started William D Ross MFG our real company name. We are known as WDR sales Co.
About Us, Where did we come from?
I began working for Ceco® Construction. It was hard work, and when I saw a man carrying saw blades off the job I asked the carpenter foreman what he was doing. He said he was sharpening them and would bring them back tomorrow. I asked what he charged for sharpening a blade, and was told it was $1.50 per blade. That’s where I started. I bought a Foley Belsaw saw sharpener and began sharpening all Ceco’s® blades in Kansas City. This led to purchasing Equipment Sharpening on 57th and Troost in Kansas City, MO. That is where I began to make molding knives.
